new image for Mother's Day from Phindy

it's so retro and I love it....I remember hanging out all our clothes - when I was a kid with my mother and then when I was first married. Still love the smell of clothes dried outside - but GIVE ME MY DRYER!

thought about coloring the clothes on the line..but remembering when my kids were babies - I was constantly washing and hanging out diapers!!!

found this poem a long time ago online...I am so sorry that I didnt keep the source - have used this poem often in cards made for customers and friends for Mother's Day - but this image is great for a birthday, new baby, memories, just to do a retro card....possibilities go on and on......so won't keep typing (:

Colored the image with Copics, sponged the sky with Memento Sky Blue, made the yo-yo with ribbon and added the little baby embellishments from table confetti for a baby shower that I helped to decorate.
Hope you enjoyed this - if you would like to have this image by Phindy, click here - it's called Spring Breeze !

Have a blessed day,

This is so perfect and I love the inside poem. Yup, I hung many a basket in my day but always loved the neighborly chat that went with the chore.

Love this image! My hubby is finally putting up a new clothesline. We just couldn't decide where to put it last summer! Any way...the clothes pin and binkie are so cute on the card. I like the new blog outfit you decided on, so bright and cheery!
