Designing DIVAs Oldie but Goodie Hop

hi there!

well it's that time for one of my fav hops - the Oldie but Goodie Hop by the Designing DIVA's...only purpose for this hop is to get to use "something" that is at least six months old! This time for me it's my stamp and my retired designer paper from Stampin Up.

you should have come from one of my absolute favorite designers Sharri Seffens
Don't you just love all of her work!!!

now my "oldie but goodie" is this stamp titled BluBird from Stamps Happen - the Carolyn Shores Wright collection. This bird's attitude cracks me up!!

I colored this image as close to the image on the wood stamp as possible - using Copics:
R81, Y02,06...B41,45,97...YG63, 67...E00, 11, 17, 57, 77

OK, enough about my card - know you want to continue the hop...and your next stop is off to the amazingly talented blog of Sue Morris!!! wooo hoooo - you are gonna love it!

Enjoy our Oldies but Goodies - hope this inspires you to pull out something "old" and that doesnt mean your DH LOL (-:

Stamp TV's CSS Alumni Blog Hop - inspiration challenge

Hi there,
Time for another fun blog hop by the CSS Alumni Group at STV - these are so fun. You should have come from the awesome and wonderfully talented blog of JOY HADDEN and if you wanted to start from the beginning of the hop - click here.
For this hop we were challenged to create from this wonderful group of photos:
eeeks! there is so much here that grabbed my eye - especially the colors...!! WOW

This was done using GKD's "Hope is Faith" Butterfly with Melanie Muenchinger's set from GKD - "Branchin Out"... and the sentiment is from Melanie's GKD Stamp set "Arranged with love"
clear embossed the butterfly and added mini pearls in leaves

for this card I really got into the colors and just HAD to use that stash ribbon LOL
The set is GKD's "Autumn Beauty" by Therea Momber
colored with Copics E18, 29, Y26, YG63, 67 and G24
embossed background mat with THoltz folder
ok, that's it for me....

Now, hop over to my friend LORI McAREE - she always has something that will make your jaw drop!

Enjoy the hop!!
hugs
