a real blessing!

my card's for today are both CAS...needed some for a few people that I had forgotten ...and the postage is cheap for these too!

the foil card I've done before but used different colors

Now pop over and see what the Heartfelt Creations Design Team members have done for today...those ladies are absolutely the best!!!

have a blessed day and hope you are ready to celebrate and if not....no stress - it will all work out (-:

Phridays are Phindy's - use a freebie!

hi there!
This week we are asking you to be frugal and use a freebie. Phindy is very generous with her freebies and there have been many lovely freebies offered at different times over at Papercraftplanet - why not check it out and see what is on there at the moment? Of course your freebie doesn't have to be your Phindy image, as long as you combine any Phindy's Place image with something then you can enter your card - maybe a free downloaded paper, a free sentiment or a freebie that came with a crafting magazine perhaps? Just be sure to use a Phindy's Place image on your creation...

I used the Phindy Phreebie - Beary Beautiful!
so sorry for short post - home very late last night and back to work early this am - gotta pay the bills (-:
..never did get that anonymous million bucks in the mail  LOL

Psalm 118:24

hello,
One of my most favorite challenge blogs is Stampin Sisters in Christ . I sincerely appreciate their insight into Scripture. They challenge us spiritually to bring ourselves closer to Christ, and they share with us each week their talent that reveals their love for our Lord.
This week their theme verse is Phil 4: 13 and the challenge is...
Make a card/project of encouragement or congratulations.

I started to use my stamp with Phil 4:13 but then thought...no matter what we are going through...there are no guarantees for tomorrow... and I'm encouraged about what today brings.
What can I do for the Lord today? Who can I share Jesus with?
the encouragement ..This IS the day that the Lord has made (-: We serve a living Saviour!!!

I am thrilled with a stamp set I won from the Layers of Color Blog Hop. It's called a "Touch of Elegance". Can you see it in the corners and behind the sentiment? Will definitely be my "go to" set for flourishes!
I have a second card I'm working on for this challenge also....hope to post it tonight...

have a blessed day,

also entered in following challenges:

Speedy the Cat's Challenge #31

Hello there,
I'm still off work through tomorrow woohooooo!  Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving and weekend....have done a few cards for some challenges that I've really missed. Today's card is for the Speedy the Cat Challenge #31 which was "have a bow on your card"......doesnt get any easier than that!

I used the ornament from the MFP set Seasonal Poinsettias combined with a Just Rite sentiment from their set Christmas Treasures

my circles are scraps - stamped off the ornament and then paper pieced the ornament colored with glitter pens....that ribbon is from my stash!
what doesnt show well is the gold cardstock that's the base...this is actually a really sparkly card (-:

see ya tomorrow - hmmmmm, may post again today but my goal is get ALLL the Christmas decorations up..
hugs,

also entered in these challenges
