If you arent celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ today, then STOP - examine your need of the living Saviour and understand that this was done for you....be saved today!
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved." John 3:16-17
Wishing those who understand what this day really means ...a special time with family and friends to thank our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ for our many blessings....and share in the excitement of knowing that He will be returning for us.....
"And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. " John 14:3
well wooo hoooooo...I did get to stamp some last night...and here is my tag for Joans Garden Tag Challenge. This is a fun challenge "just for fun"....BUT if you win, your name goes into Joan's pot for a chance to win her $100 shoppping spree in June!
Now to win, those of us who play need your votes...hoping you will pop over to Joan's either late Sunday night or Monday...and vote...preferably for ME LOL!
we cant vote for ourselves and we are all friends so this is really just for fun...plus my stash of tags is growing...recently gave a gift wrapped in plain white tissue paper and added one of my tags - have to say...beautiful gift presentation.
This time I did a "vintage" tag - well....I tried to do a vintage tag (-:(nothing compares to Linda C or Dru for vintage)
vellum from Websters, base cs is GKD Vibrant Violet, MS butterfly punch, fibres, stash pleated ribbon, mini pearls, small script stamp and sentiment (names unknown) and mini mulberry roses
I just received another round of "friend requests" to join this site and have gotten emails from several friends that they have received this same request from me....
I HAVE NOT SENT THIS - couple of weeks ago I sent an email to everyone on my contact list but just in case I missed someone...and since its coming around again..please beware! this is not sent from me!
Welcome to the Phindy's Place Challenge Birthday Bloghop! It is one whole year
since we began posting challenges on the blog, we can't believe a year has gone by
Our challenge this week is paper piecing and the usual prizes are up for grabs,
however we aren't posting the DT's cards on the blog this week, we would love you to play
along for a blog hop and collect a word from each posting. When you've got the
full sentence, please post it in the comments on the blog (which will be hidden
until the hop is over!) and you could win a $10 Gift Certificate to use at Phindy's Place.
You aren't required to leave comments at each blog, but we'd love it if you do
leave some love for the DT! Blog Hop is open until midnight (GMT) 28 April.
So this week, you have THREE chances to win: the blog hop, the random winner of
the challenge and the pick of the week. So what are you waiting for?
Here is the order for the Blog Hop, in case you get lost, you start and finish at the Challenge Blog:

This week at Phindy's Place Friday Challenge Blog the challenge is a color theme... to use "Purple and Teal" on your card or project.
So, for this color combo I pulled out Stampin Up's Taken with Teal and Elegant Eggplant..then printed some digi paper from GKD and colored it purple and teal with the computer (did that at work with the help of a co-worker!...and of course it was during lunch!!) later that evening, put my layout together and then decided on which Phindy image I wanted to use... Phindy's Summer Cutie Collection is one of my all time favs and so went right to this darling image called Seaside Baby
dont know who makes the little fish and seaweed stamps - found them at a LSS "yard sale"
Copics used are BG 11, 13, 15...B04...E00, 11, 21...V06, 09, 12...C1

This week at Phindy's Place Friday Challenge Blog the challenge is to use "humor" on your card or project.

There is a small change to the prizes that are up for grabs: There will still be two prizes, one winner will be chosen at random from the entries and will win a $5 gift certificate to the Phindy's Place Store and one entry will win Pick of the Week which will also have a $5 gift certificate prize.
Don't forget that once a month we will choose an overall winner from the weekly winners and they will be offered a Guest position on the DT - and of course a free image from Phindy's Place to use for that week's challenge!
