was browsing through my Gina K stamps (and that's a LOT of browsing)....looking for a stamp that would work for a vintage card - just in that kinda mood, ya know. Anyway, decided on the set "Timeless Treasures" by Theresa Momber. Had my locket cameo done, stamped the sentiment I wanted to use - and now was stuck on my background...doing this card completely backwards from starting with a layout or even a color selection....just kinda of "goin with the flow"....just in that kinda mood, ya know (:
so somewhere in my "grazing" through huge box of stash paper - there it was.....an already mounted piece of embossed foil on blue cardstock (i left out I had stamped and matted my sentiment in purple)....oh well, restamped the sentiment - went with black for matting and base....here it is....so what happened to the vintage I was going for??? I dont know...but was tickled because this now works for Sharri's Blast from the Past Challenge over on STV: to use embossed foil.....just amazing sometimes how it all comes together!
this was actually a really quick card - if I dont count my "browsing time" (smile!)
have a beautiful blessed day,

This is beautiful Linda and don't you love it when you find some stuff already done (in your scraps) to put a card together! :o) Did you change your blog a bit? Looks great...if you didn't, I am just losing my mind, lol!
