Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge #25 - Pastels

This week over at Mo's Weekly Challenge , our challenge hostess for April, Peggy Marsh, challenged us to do a card in "pastels"..
This image of Mo's appealed to me because what I wouldn't give to have some time "off the roller coaster" and instead... just kicking back and spending a couple days at my own leisure.....big sigh.....don't usually feel that way - but last couple of months at work have really worn me out- pity party time !! LOL

ok, enough whining....here's my card....colored with copics...SU dp
another big sigh....she looks so comfy  (-:
ok, I'm going to read a book....i really do love to read...

need some suggestions - love mystery and romance!!

have a blessed day,

beautiful card....I hope you can get some "you" time soon to just relax. I loved the scrapbook mystery series by Laura Childs- can't remember the names of them all but the last one was Tragic Magic.. fun easy reads.

Great card! The window seat looks so dimensional. Don't know if it is the stamp
or how you put it together but it is lovely.
Always such wonderful cards!

What a peaceful card! I always wanted a window seat to read in when I was a teen. I made due with a comfy chair in a nook by my bedroom window! Anyway, you go right ahead and gripe, have a little pity party, where else but with your blogging friends. It was such a "tiny little" thing. ;-) Hoping this week is better!

I consider that image quite a challenge to colur and you have done an amazing job. Stunning card! Like the way you kept rest of it very simple to avoid overdoing it - I find that sooo hard to do. It's always - I'll just add ONE more little thing and soon the whole card is brimming with embellies! lol

Beautiful card and I hope you're relaxing and reading and taking some "me" time Linda! Do you read Janet Evanovich, Nora Roberts, Carol Smith, Earlene Fowler, Ruth Rendell, Dick Francis? I love mystery books, my favourite author is Margery Allingham, wrote wonderful stuff that I go back to time and again
