Sketch Challenge 68 for A Spoonful of Sugar

Really love the Magnolia's!  Finally had a chance to make a card with one...this is for Challenge 68 at A Spoonful of Sugar.  She is a larger image so I couldn't fit the leaves across the bottom in the same manner of the sketch - but there are 3 embellishments at the bottom with the leaves.  Paper pieced her dress from stash paper...like the look of that technique.

Stamps: Gina K's - Eclectic Summer, Magnolia,
Paper: Gina K's - Green Apple and Chocolate, SU's Durango and white, dp stash
Ink:  Memento Black, Durango
Colored with Copics
Embellishments:  adhesive brad head from Gina K, EK's flourish punch, mini leaf punch unknown
Technique: coloring, paper piecing, matting

Next post will hopefully be Tuesday night...have Bible study at the jail tomorrow night. Please pray for these women - some are truly seeking to change their lives. Prayer is powerful!!

Have a blessed day,

Beautiful coloring Linda, you put this together so beautifully! My card in French said ``Happy Birthday my Prince Charming``, for my own Frog! LOL!

Hi Linda,
Another beautiful card. I really like coming to your blog. I hope all goes well at the jail when you go. Your right about prayer - an old brother in our church used to say "The Bible Reading (study meeting) is the Feeding Meeting and the Prayer Meeting is the Power Meeting.
In Him,
Hugs,

Hi again Linda,
My husband bought me a full set of Copic Ciaos when I first started but My daughter-in-law, has a full set of Promarkers (in fact she is Sarah on the Design Team for Passion for Promarkers) and I have used hers. I find them better for very fine lines but hubby is not yet biting at the bait.
Hugs,
Fiona x
