Apple Time! we love it...before one of our daughters and her family moved to North Carolina - my husband always took our grankids (Maggie and Thomas) to the apple orchard in Charlottesville for major apple picking! We've also gone to the Apple Harvest Festival at Graves Mountain and just had a wonderful time. Something for everyone! Well, once they moved it wasn't a tradition we could keep...so now when I visit them in September I carry them fresh picked apples. We all have our favorites...for me - I love a good Golden Delicious or Gala!
...sometimes with peanut butter and sometimes (if its a tart apple) with a really good slice of sharp cheese.
Hey Patti - that's an "Ohhhhhh Mama!" big grin here !

Linda, this card is gorgeous! Wow, love the coloring and gingham ribbon. As far as apples, I love a nice tart Granny Smith! I am looking forward to getting some apples (usually we would go to Jenkins Orchard the other side of Culpeper). All of the apple talk has me craving Stewed Apples, Apple Cake and Fried Apples....and, and :o)
Wow Linda, this card is amazing!I love that sentiment!
Picture perfect, Linda! You are making me miss those VA apples! Blessings to you!

Yes Linda, this is absolutely beautiful. I love any "crisp" apple. I just made a delicious apple pie. I always use a sweet and tart mixture of apples for my pies.
Gorgeous card Linda! Your coloring is awesome! It is apple time here! I'm not a huge apple fan, but my little one loves apples - just apples - every day!

Gosh, Linda! You really out did yourself with this beautiful card! I really miss being able to go to the orchards around here. Where there are apples there are yellow jackets and they are my deadliest ememy. My 2 favs are Jewish apple cake and apple crisp with the oatmeal topping.
Your cards are always stunning! I enjoyed your lol post from the other day!
Linda, what an awesome card!! Those apples are simply marvelous!! Royal Gala are my faves!! There is a new one too called, "jazzy" which is crisp and sweet!! My mom used to make Apple Crisp a lot, but not for quite some time. She also makes the best apple slices! Now I'm hungry!!
