Black Eyed Susans

This afternoon when I was driving home, I suddenly noticed that the roadsides and fields are covered in Black-Eyed Susans...seems like they are always there (here in Virginia) and I just take them for granted...so made this card with them in mind. Colors work perfectly for this week's color challenge at STV to use brown, ivory, yellow. (Several of the BE Susans are raised on pop-dots...don't think you can tell in the pic)

Stamps: Gina K's:  Signs of Autumn, A Year of Flowers
Paper: Gina K's Chocloate Kiss and SU's So Saffron and white
Ink: Memento Black, Bordering Blue (for clouds)
Copics: Y02, Y06, Y08, E59, E74, C1, YG03, YG63 and YG67
Embellishment: Spellbinder's Fancy Tags, ribbon from stash, gold glitter pen
Technique: masking, matting

Well, wonderful 3 day weekend is over...and while they are so great...this means will be working at lot the next 4 days - tomorrow is Traffic Tuesday - so leaving very early in the morning!!! Whew! but what a weekend...finished all my swaps and mailing them tomorrow AND featured on the Inspirational Blog - still doing a happy dance over that....and a BIG thank you everyone for your kind, kind comments!!!!

Back to the routine! but no complaints - so thankful for my job!
Have a blessed day,

Linda, This is so beautiful. I love the flowers and your coloring is perfection. I love your Spellbinders fancy tags also. Looks like I will have to add that to my wish list. Have a great week.

Hi Linda,
What a wonderfully cheery card. I am looking out on a typical Scottish Autumn day. Heavy heavy rain and wind. The summer bedding plants are absolutely ruined and hubby cant get into the garden to start tidying up because it is so wet. Thanks for the glimpse of summer.
Yours in Him,
Fiona x

Wow, Linda you should be beaming from ear to ear with all this success and recognition (it is only what you deserve though with all you talents).
Thanks for all your lovely comments and get well wishes, they cheer me up and make me smile. I'm getting back on my feet slowly with the aid of a walking stick (I walk like I'm 94 not 44!) I WILL make it to Harrogate this weekend -Yay! I can hear the plastic groaning in my purse as I type ;o) This is the major papercrafts show for the north of England so I'm so looking forward to it. I should be back crafting soon.
Warm wishes - from a very wet UK!
