Sugar Creek Hollow Challenge

Welcome to another Sensational Saturday at Sugar Creek Hollow
We want you to make vintage, shabby chic or primitive cards.
This week's challenge ..."  Must use items headed for recycling or garbage - not paper scraps & must show photo of the item(s) before they are transformed" ....

well, ok then! if you follow my blog you read in the previous post that I was excited that two of my Design Teams had very nearly the same criteria ...recycle! and love to recycle magazines! Here is the page of the magazine..aka "my trash" LOL

and here is my "treasure"

and the inside of the puzzle side of the card!

so look around...what are you going to "trash" that you could still use ??...need some ideas ??
pop over and check out the awesome ladies on this team...they do "trash to treasure" beautifully

One random winner will receive a digi of our choice and a winner's badge to display. In addition, the Design Team will choose one project as Card of the Week and the creator will receive a badge and will be in the running for a Guest Designer spot!

Crazy weather here in Virginia! bulbs are pushing their way up ....maybe this means NO SNOW!  I know some of you are buried in the stuff and some of you wish you HAD snow....ME? I would like to drive to see snow if I want snow and then leave it behind (-:

hugs sweet friends,

supplies:
Cardstock: all from Marks Finest Papers
Ink: light sponging with Ranger's Distress Burlap, sentiment was computer generated
Flower: THoltz's Tattered Flower, with stash button and SU designer paper
Corner flourish from Spellbinders Fleur De Lis Accents
image: from Graphics Fairy

Awesome card Linda! How wonderful that you had a sentiment to match the maze. I always worry about my Magnolia tree in the Spring, some years it starts to bud and then we get a snow storm and no pretty flowers. :( Our mid-Michigan winter hasn't been much of a winter at all, so who knows.

Linda~ Love your recycled magazine page! It is just darling..and your sentiment inside ties it all together wonderfully! Thank you for the inspiration!

I'm in Michigan ...so far not much snow..and I too would rather drive and visit snow ...somewhere else :0)
Hugs!!

This turned out so well and I love the verse inside. I love how you turned a white page into such a warm vintage feel.
