Speedy the Cat Challenge #82

Welcome Weekend!
This week at the Speedy the Cat Challenge Blog Design Team member Harriet challenged us to create using " black, white and one other color"....well one of my fav combos is red, black and white....
so keeping it very simple (for a change LOL) I used two images from one of the new releases for November called A Trip to Lancaster.

used MFP cardstock, "dotted" Cuttlebug folder, Color Box ink - Licorice, red pen and stash ribbon!

DONE!
can't believe it - I dont think this counts as a CAS (clean and simple) because of the layers but this is about as CAS as I get!

Hope you get to pop over and see the wonderful creations from the Design Team AND hope you are inspired to join in the challenge...remember - random winner wins a FREE STAMP SET!

(one more thing - the new releases for November will be "officially" released on Nov 21-23rd and we will be having our release blog hop - it's late this month due to the sale of Mark's Finest Papers.)
hugs,

Hi Linda,
CAS or not it's gorgeous. I love the combination of the ribbons and the embossing is brilliant. Love the image.

What a wonderful card! It reminds me of all my fantastic rides here up RT23! There is always something new to see, just like when I visit your blog!

Good job on your type of CAS! It is clean and fairly simple, *grin*. Love the layers and colors, the double ribbon is awesome.

Love this card, Linda! Great Amish stamp!

Speaking of Amish...have you ever been up to Lancaster, PA? There are lots of Amish-run stamp stores! One of the girls in my stamp group does "Amish Trips" every so often to hit up the stamp stores...and of course, the Amish bakeries! :)
