Vintage Sunflower

hi there,
squeezin this one in...really enjoying trying to get "the hang" of vintage...the Design Team and Guest Designer, Linda C, aka The Funkie Junkie (-: over on the Sugar Creek Hollow blog  are amazing - loved what they did with sunflowers...inspired me to try...and check out the cards entered in the challenge - THEY are incredible also...

using an image from the GKD Set "Autumn Beauty" by Theresa Momber

used MFP's cardstock Aged Cranberry for base and then scraps of designer paper, piece of burlap from inside old feed bag, stash pleated ribbon and colored the image with pencils...
gasp!!!! I didnt use my Copics  LOL
oh and sponged with Ranger's Distress Vintage Photo

thought the pencils make it look more vintage....maybe it's just me (-:

ok, really must crash - have been working late and then pretty bad insomnia (hence all the cards for the MFP September release!!)
hugs,

Oh my this is gorgeous Linda! The burlap and that gorgeous scrunched ribbon are my two favorite elements on your card. The papers you've chosen lend a wonderful autumm feeling to it too. Very beautiful! Thanks for sharing it with us at Sugar Creek Hollow!
