Sugar Creek Hollow's - Trash vintage

hi there
worked on a really neat challenge today from over at Sugar Creek Hollow ...to create using "your trash"!..not scraps...something that you are throwing away!!!
yikes, and then when I saw their inspiration...just blown away! They are paper crafters!!!
... sooooo what did I have in the trash? well... our latest magazine from our electric coop! took a picture of the page I used for the background....grapes....now to hunt for the stamp (-:

did my best to turn it into vintage..

sentiment was done with computer...so now when my DH sees me rummaging through the trash and asks ...why? and I tell him...to make cards! dont let him haul me away to the looney bin LOL...

back to work in am....have to say I did get some much needed sleep over this long weekend - laundry is staring back at me...oh well...I'm staring right back (-
hugs,

Awesome use of "trash". I just love it when something that was going to the landfill can be re-purposed into something beautiful!!

Linda, you are becoming a vintage queen. This is fabulous and I love how you took the magazine image and created a theme based on it. That is a theme after my own heart - do like my red wine:) The embellishments are great and I just love the rich colour scheme. Word of warning - don't let your DH see you picking stuff out of the trash or he may think you don't need to go to the craft store. Thanks for joining us at Sugar Creek Hollow.
Hugs!
