Daffodils....finally Spring?

love daffodils!!! one of my fav's....you know it's Spring when they pop their lovely heads up through even the snow!! we have some at work and ...yes!!! they are coming up....hope they make it!

I'm lovin this card....
you can't tell well in the pic, but some of the daffodils are embossed and some are paper pieced.

This was done using two images from Sweet n Sassy Stamps! The sentiment is from their set "Praying for You" and the daffodils are done with their image "March Daffodil". I am really enjoying working with their images !I especially appreciate the scripture, sentiments, and images that glorify the Lord...I like to have a "stash" of encouragement cards on hand to send to some of the incarcerated women in my Bible study on Monday nights and these images provide quick n easy cards!

have a blessed day!

Details:
Paper: GKD's Lemon Drop and Asparagus
Ink: SU's Barely Banana, Mellow Moss, Old Olive
Embellishments: yellow ribbon from GKD, MS punch
Copics: Y15, Y02, YG03, YG63

Hi Linda,
This is beautiful. I love your daffies and the punched corners are wonderful. The sentiment is just right for your ladies. You can tell them that they are being prayed for in Scotland.
Beautiful work.

Well, isn't this card stunning! Your daffodil garden is beautiful and I love how you mixed the embossing and the paper piecing techniques! I also like the use of the corner punch - great idea to add it to the middle as well! Thanks for the lovely comments over on my blog! I can't believe I didn't think of rain drops keep fallin' on my head :) And yep, you would love mom's craft room! It's great that we have crafting and card making in common. Have a lovely day Linda! Oh, and PS - you can kid with me anytime :)

This is just so beautiful, Linda! Gorgeous details and ya can't get much Springier than this. You can come play in my mess room anytime. There are just not enough hours for me to use this stuff all by myself.

Linda that card is gorgeous, I had to comment on it at PCP too. Love it! I also wanted to ask you a question - who makes that punch? You've used it before and I'm beginning to want one badly, lol. Please email me -- aimeslee at earthlink dot net -- thanks!
