"old world" Christmas - made with scraps

Still enjoying being off from work...and my clean craft room!  but now I have found even more boxes of scraps...GOAL...use 'em or bite the bullet and ditch 'em....some of these boxes are years old!

made this with scraps....faux stitching...some gold studs....and using the "pattern embossing technique" from Gina this week

inside of card:

TIP: I stamped this background stamp (Inspiration Mosaic) onto back of cereal box and cut out all the shapes to make a template. Then I stacked several pieces of scraps at a time, outlined template piece, and cut. Only stacked as high as I could go and keep a straight cut. I now have a whole Whitman Sampler box of cut-out pieces to use for this stamp! even that top, right, tiny, skinny one  LOL

I worked on this for about two hours today (yaaaaaayyyyy for vacation), throwing away one BIG box of scraps for the ONE Whitman box of scraps - labeled for Inspiraton Mosaic.....oh I am loving the organization,  heeee heeee...DH gives me to Friday to have it back to its normal state of chaos!!

(Now, THREE more BIG boxes of scraps to go!!!  but not this week! by big, I am talking the large box Stampin Up uses - that's a lot of scrap)

So how small do you keep your paper scraps???
Have a blessed day,

This is great! Mind if I use some of these ideas on my blog crediting your blog? I'll be posting more about scraps and using things from around the house in the next couple of weeks.

gorgeous! I have been trying to use up my scraps. The pile is slowly, of so slowly shrinking. At least it is not growing. I need ideas for the 8 billion rolls of ribbon I have!
