Feel the magic! with liquid applique and glitter!!


We had our first snowfall this past Saturday here in Virginia - received a little over 4 inches....sooooo did these cards while it was snowing! Fit the challenge over at STV to use liquid applique and for Gina K's new December Release Challenge at SCS!!!

for STV:



Stamps: GKD's Holiday Cheer and Holiday Greetings
Paper: GKD's All Spruced Up and Luxury White, and SU's Night of Navy
Ink: SU Handsome Hunter, Night of Navy, Bashful Blue and Memento's Black
Embellishments: colored house with copics, clear ep on house and trees, matted sentiment to make the big moon, sponged sky with lightest to darkest blues, liquid applique and fine glitter with glue pen for snow on house and ground, stickles around the moon!
Technique: sponging, clear embossing

Paper: Theresa's digi, GKD white and cranberry
Ink: clear embossed
Embellishment: gold glitter pen, liquid applique with fine glitter
Technique: clear embossing, nestie

Hi Linda,
Another two beauties. I love the snowscene - it's bright and cheerful, but I must admit to being a sucker for the traditional baubles -very stylish.
Hope the snow doesn't disrupt your travelling too much. We usually get snow in this part of Scotland but there is no sign of it yet (unless your sending it across the Atlantic). Go safely, God Bless.

Wow, Linda, these are so neat! Love that snow scene! I am still trying to get courage to try the liquid applique! Hope the snow cleared before you had to get to work! It's beautiful but not on I95! Blessings to you!

I LOVE both of these Linda! I'm still partial to the little gingerbread house! So cute!You can keep the snow in Virginia! We are in the deep freeze.... it should be leaving by the end of the week!LOL!

Love your cards Linda! The first one is such a pretty snow scene....love the red and those bells on your second card! Also, VERY jealous of ALL of your snow up there :o((( All we got was about 4 inches of chicken *stuff* across the road on the cow pasture...smells, divine, NOT!!!! LOL!
