Heartfelt Creations Alumni Blog Hop

Hi there!
Well, it's the last Tuesday of the month, so that means the Heartfelt Creations Alumni Designers are having their monthly hop....and this is the shortest hop in history! Don't know what happened to our designers, we are thinking everyone is very busy getting back to school....

BUT that means the odds of you being chosen as the random winner from
one of our three blogs has triple quadrupled increased LOL

Please enjoy and comment on each of our blogs to increase your chance to be the chosen winner

DINA KOWAL
and ME!

for my card I chose to use the gorgeous HCPC 3429 Wisemen Ornament PreCut Set
I cased one of the cards from the design team that I fell in love with
when I saw it at the Charlotte NC craft show

look at the difference the angle of the photo makes - in the one below you can see the glitter and the Frost Shimmer Spritz from Tsukineko
Card stock is SU-Not QuiteNavy, Designer Paper from Graphics 45, stamped with SU-Not QuiteNavy and bleached out the top of the images, used Spellbinders -Elegant Posts, stash ribbon and liquid applique for snow and more sparkle with stickles!

since the hop is so short. I'm showing you one of the card designs I will be making this year - when you make about 150 cards at Christmas, the above cards are a little too time consuming to mass produce...The below card was done in FIFTEEN MINUTES!
now biggest reason that  it was so quick (besides being an easy card to create) was that I already knew exactly what paper, cardstock and layout I was using....
this is going to be great to use up (or try to anyway) the older Christmas designer paper in my stash.....

Blog Hop will remain open for comments on everyone's blog through midnight Friday night August 31st.
The winner will be posted here (and on the member's blogs who are able to post) by noon on Saturday, September 1st
The winner will receive a $25.00 gift certificate to shop at Heartfelt Creations!

hope you enjoy our little hop,

Linda, this must be the most fabulous card IRL, when you can turn it and see what it looks like from every angle! Your second card is just as beautiful -- bows are perfect on each!

I love this Christmas design! I especially liked seeing how the bleached technique looks on a finished card. And you're right....the angle makes such a difference in the photographs! Love the shimmer...

Linda, this is so beautiful. I also love the version for your mass production at Christmas time. I just bought this set at the CKC convention in Tulsa so will be using it for my Christmas cards too. Thanks for the inspiration.

Well it took awhile but I finally figured out how to get to the comment box. It exciting to see samples of this HFC wise men and ornament die. I discovered them too late last year to put them to use-so its great to get inspiration for this year. I love, love the irridescent effect on the first posting- the monochromatic color tones are wonderful too. Look forward to seeing other posts.

This really is gorgeous. I love that image, it's different from what you normally see. And yikes! 150 Christmas cards? Wow!

I love this new Spellbinders die. You have showcased it beautifully by using the "window" technique. The shimmer & sparkle certainly says holiday. Also love your stamp choice, Linda. Thank you for sharing your design.

Beautiful card...love your design in both versions. Like the short hop too...but there may be an increase in commenters beacuse of the brevity. But I'll hope for the best.

Linda - your work is always so beautiful. I love both cards and I must say the 15 minute card doesn't look like it was just a 15 minute card. It is beautiful.
