Crafters of Faith Blog Group April Challenge

Good morning, so back to work...all good - very blessed to have the career that I have...but sure hate that the weekend is over (-:    Thanks for the well wishes on the yard sale to raise funds for transporting 36 kids to the Wilds Christian Camp this summer - we are setup, have gone through the tons of stuff donated and just have to wait for the actual sale this coming Saturday!

Today is the blogging group that I belong to ... the Crafters of Faith...monthly challenge for our group. This month the challenge is from Olga. She gave us these guidelines:
  • must be 5 x 7...got it
  • must have at least one die cut ....got it
  • must include envelope ...got it
  • Mother's Day theme....got it... (sort of - my card for my MIL is already done so this is going to a special friend)

used sentiment from Heartfelt Creations - HCPC 3354 Class Message PreCut Set, Designer Paper is from Stampin Up as well as cardstock. I save bits of punched cardstock so took this opportunity to randomly add them as a border to the mat. Mat are die cut with Spellbinders Grand Nestabilities Labels 4 and Regular size Label 4. The flowers are die cuts from Spellbinders that were designed by Nina Brackett called Astor Flowers .  and brads are from stash. Pearls are done with Liquid Pearls - white.

now, check this out!!!  had no idea what to do for this huge envelope and wanted to watercolor...so pulled out the SU watercolor crayons but the NEAT part is...I stamped with the AsterFlower die! yep, it didn't hurt the ink pad, so I masked the stamp and stamped with the die onto the envelope...so now it matched my card! Even added stickles and liquid pearls to the envelope... and it can be mailed because its all flat on the envelope! not detailed coloring, went for water color look...

You can check out the rest of the group's take on Olga's challenge from my sidebar,
hugs

Thanks for the encouragement the last few weeks, I needed it, as it was very frustrating.
