Sugar Creek Hollow Challenge

Welcome to another Sensational Saturday at Sugar Creek Hollow.. This week we have a color challenge for you. We want you to make vintage, shabby chic or primitive cards featuring CREAM, BLUE & BROWN.
One random winner will receive a digi of our choice and a winner's badge to display. In addition, the Design Team will choose one project as Card of the Week and the creator will receive a badge and will be in the running for a Guest Designer spot. Our Design Team has created wonderful cards with this color scheme to inspire you. If you want the details on their cards, just click on their name and you will be taken directly to their blog.

For our challenge this week, I used an image from the Vintage Lamp Set  from the Digi Doodle Shop.
well I blew it again...when I saw our challenge I thought "Oh how perfect! works for Digi Doodle Shop's challenge also"...and was just tickled. So imagine me sitting with my mouth open when I went to get the link to enter this in their challenge... and it had ended this past Wednesday!!!
Oh well, I'm sure this wont be the last time I get my dates crossed LOL
...my background was done with the Shaving Cream Technique .

update: wooo hoooo Digi Doodle is having an "anything goes" challenge so I get to enter this one after all ...big smile here

have a beautiful weekend!

Gorgeous card. I love the result of the shaving cream technique and your image is coloured beautifully. It reminds me of an artist plate that one would display.
Hugs!

Oh my that background is soooo pretty! love how it came out. The image is darling.
I've also done that with challenge deadlines. Ugh, so much to do, not enough eyes to keep on deadlines :)

I loved this the moment that I saw your card. This is one gorgeous image and your coloring is divine. I love the shaving cream technique, haven't done that in quite a while...it sure made a perfect background. Hope you are well, just trying to get around after our trip (had a great time).

It's so funny, when I learned the shaving cream technique, I made so many pieces in different color groups, that I still find bits to use on cards. Just lovely, Linda.

Beautiful card, Linda. I haven't tried that technique but now I'm tempted 'cause I really like the result you got. And getting ready for a challenge that's over... been there, done that! Peggy x
