one that didnt quite work

hi there - this is one of those times it just doesnt work for me BUT it's after midnight and want to get this entered in a couple challenges and need to get to bed - back to work tomorrow and played all weekend - loved it!

I stamped the new background stamp from GKD's Wild at Heart by Melanie in SU's Pretty in Pink, then airbrushed Copics RV02, R37 and YR09 in different areas. Matted onto SU's cranberry, matted on SU's Wasabi and base cardstock is also SU's pink. These were the colors I have that matched the closest to the color challenge #46 over at Stacey's Stamping Stage - wild wasabi, pink pirouette, peach parfait, poppy parade, whisper white.

Then over at Marks' Finest Paper, the challenge from Geri  is to do "5 of something"..so I have 5 flowers - 3 are stamped and 2 are pierced.

THEN, I was capping the R37, dropped it and PLOP! right on my card...soooooooo...I had to turn the tag...oh well, only you and I will know....whoever receives it won't (-: Tag is from GKD's Fancy Tag set by Nina.

Can't be upset - weekend was just tooooo wonderful - now back to work week . Thankful for my job.
I was so glad to also get around to do some blog visiting with so many of you that I've missed (-:

have a blessed day,
Spending time with friends this weekend and hearing their health problems - DH and I are thanking the Lord for our good health. Tremendous blessing that we take for granted. Need to work on that.....

Hi Linda,
It's amazing how often we produce a card that we feel is just not right and yet everyone else this is great. I think this might be one of those. I genuinely love it. There has obviously been a lot of work gone into it and I love the colours. The flowers are fabulous. Does it for me.
Hugs,

You chose gorgeous colors for this WAH beauty! I likey! Boo boo's make us stronger at our creating skills. This was a good one!

Yes, we are very fortunate to get up in the morning. Sure can't get some of our friends off my mind. They are being tested.

Very pretty background you created with your different colors. I had an "oops" on the project I posted today. Like you, I made and adjustment to hide it and actually like the results better than my original idea. So sometimes "oops" are good things.

Beautiful card...someone will be very lucky to get this card from you. I think our mistakes just add to our creativity. No one would have ever known, but it is nice to hear we are not alone, ha. Love this stamp and the way you added extra flowers just makes it even more lovely. I am loving that air brushing!

Linda I have done the same thing. I can't tell you how many times I have picked up my nearly finished card with ink om my fingers and put a really "nice" smudge on it. After a few choice words I do the same thing and cover it.

Your card is Gorgeous! If you hadn't said anything no one would have ever known.
