Flamingo

well my STV order came and I finally was able to get the GKD's "Aloha" set by Theresa Momber - just love her stamps!  and perfect timing because Joan's Garden Challenge this week is to do a Pink n White card - love it when it just falls in place....

kept it simple, concentrating on the flamingo - you know.. those skinny legs are tough to color!
have been practicing coloring birds after a recent Bird Coloring Challenge over at Copic Creations (you should have SEEN the DT's cards - stunning - they set the bar I want to reach! pop over and scroll down - amazing!)
Used CB folder, sponged lightly with Memento's Angel Pink, GKD's Innocent Pink and white card stock, CB folder and MS punch at corners....
Copics used R00, 20, 81 and RV34

Hi Linda,
Wow, this is right up my street. I love pink. The flamingo is gorgeous, the design papers are fabulous and those punched corners are just right for this card. I love this one to bits.
Thanks for sharing.
Hugs,

Linda, your pink flamingo is adorable and I love how you colored his legs a darker pink. The embossing really sets things off. Great job!

Thanks for playing Joan's Gardens #9 Challenge.
It is so much fun seeing all the beautiful cards.

That darn cat is driving you crazy to huh? You are the only person I know that can make a pink flamingo look good! Super sweet!

Beautiful, Linda! Love how you did the halo around the flamingo. Great job with the CBd background!

Beautiful! Your feathers are looking fantastic, and the legs look awesome. The legs do look like they would be hard to color and shade just right, good job.
