Time makes old friends

This is a "thinking of you" card for an old friend - we both love "flavored" coffee, so thought this scene fit perfectly.
It also works for STV's color challenge this week : pink, brown, and white.

colored the cups and clock with Copics, paper pieced my cups, clock and cloth on shelf, sponged the card using SU's Cocoa and Pretty in Pink...sentiment matted on pink nestie, and image matted onto Basic Grey dp and then onto SU's pink cardbase!

Learned how to play the card game "Rook" today- my DH and his partner killed us....and either I dont take losing too well...or he is a horrible winner!!!!   LOL...we will decide when we are speaking again  :)))))

Have a wonderful day,
hugs....

Details:
Stamps: from GKD "Timeless Treasure" and "Lovely Shelf"
Paper: from SU - Cocoa and Pink
Ink:  Vivid Coffee and Memento Black
Technique:  paper piecing and sponging

Wow Linda I love everything about this card. I wish I colored that well. It looks like you can just take one of those cups right off the shelf. Love it!

My DH will NOT play games. He has learned that even if he wins, he does not win! Get my drift???? So, I see you are playing with the shelf. I'm warning ya, it's like potato chips, once ya start ya can't stop! I didn't think to put the clock on there. Good call, I love it!

Your card game story is cute. Love your card it is so warm and charming. There was also a challenge on SCS for using a clock in it so I thought you made this for that challenge too. If not, you should post it in that gallery also. Thanks also for your post on my WL blog. I appreciate you coming by and checking on me.

How funny Linda.. !! We played Taboo over the holiday.. try having your DH be your partner and he only uses British terms! I thought I would strangle him!

Love your card and it's perfect for the challenge. I wanted to play along and missed it by 20 minutes!

Happy New Year to you and yours. With hugs, Peggy

My husband accuses me of being a bad winner...claims I gloat. I don't rub it in, but I can't help it if I can't quit smiling when I win...I love to win!! Anyway, if that was your first game you'll have plenty of times to reverse your positions. BTW, your card is beautiful.
