love carousel horses

They bring back wonderful childhood memories - my favorite carousel when I was a kid (back in the 50's) was an amusement park outside of Washington DC called Glen Echo!  It was the biggest carousel around and the horses were beautiful!!!! annnnndddd..it seemed like you got to ride forever...

I have just finally looked at the Whimsy Stamps and fell in love! This carousel is one of  their newest releases...there is another one available which I plan to get very soon! and I understand there will be a total of four. I ordered this one on Sunday and it was here when I got home this evening....so had to ink it up and do a card!

very simple - just coloring and sponging - didnt have time to do anything else.  I was a little heavy on the sponging...but oh well!!!  The pole and the snowflake are covered in fine glitter and the horse is clear embossed...but the shine reflected back in the camera so I took the picture without using a flash. Will be doing some more cards with this horse this weekend! My head is swimming with ideas....KWIM!
Hope you like it!

have a wonderful blessed day,
