Inking a cuttlebug folder

This card was for the inspirational challenge at Stamp TV using Inking a Cuttlebug Folder technique. This reminds Gina of italian tile. She provided this picture for inspiration...

I loved this inspiration. Several years ago I had the opportunity to travel through Italy. This challenge brought back a beautiful memory of a place in Capri where we ate lunch. We sat outside but the "roof" was made of grapevines and the fireplace was gorgeous - it wasnt being used..but between looking out onto the Mediterranean and then that beautiful island scenery....well, loved this challenge...and here is my card!

wanted to keep the "mantel" simple and used "the black iron" I saw everywhere along with the elegant pottery! (we also toured some of the handmade potterys and watched the artisans create....couldnt afford any of it...but thoroughly enjoyed watching them!)

hope you have a great day,
hugs to you,

Details:
Stamp:  GKD's Lovely Shelf
Paper:  GKD's sand, black, cranberry

Your card is beautiful! Really reminds me of Italy. The whole inking of a Cuttlebug folder has fascinated me for a while, but I have never tried it. Maybe now is the tight time. :)

I bet Gina would be so proud!!! Beutiful shelf card. I met Gina today at her retail store in Wisconsin. It was really kind of strange to see her in real life and not on a computer...
