for the potluck challenge this week, Geri asked us to CASE something created by one of DT ladies at STV! The challenge was to try an choose just one.. LOL! we were to change two things. I chose to CASE the top card in brown that was done by Melanie from Gina K Designs (her blog is on my sidebar).
I changed the colors, sentiment, and placement of leaves and the butterfly! My butterfly is also clear embossed.
I love her card...and love her Inspiration Mosaic stamp - as you all must know by now :)....Really like purple and green together ....hope you like it! doesn't really do Melanie's card justice...but I'll keep it LOL
Really need to keep practicing my sponging...still very "smeary"...

Ink: SU hunter green, Vivid's purple, colored butterfly with matching Copics
Technique: clear embossing of butterfly, piecing, matting, sponging
