I'm sorry I haven't posted here...have been trying to post updates on Facebook and not even thinking about my blog....but need prayer.
My youngest grandaughter, Lauryn Hope Newsome, was diagnosed with Leukemia this past Thursday. It was caught very quickly. She was admitted straight to Children's Hospital in DC the same day the leukemia was discovered. She is 2 years old.
There is a Facebook page setup called Fight On Little Lauryn that has all the details. She began her chemo treatment yesterday and is doing as well as she can considering what chemo does to her little body....please lift her up in prayer....

Oh Linda- will keep your little one in prayers! The children's hospitals are so incredible when you find out all they do- my little nephew is a cancer survivor. Bless you and so sorry your journey is going down this road, but hopefully your story will end up like my nephew's!

My good thoughts and prayers are with your adorable Granddaughter, her parents and you. It sounds like the doctors sprung into action once they had a diagnosis and are working quickly to get that little cutie free of cancer and back to a normal little life.

I just found out about little Lauryn. I want you to know that Lauryn and the rest of your family are in my prayers. I am so sorry to hear that she has such a fight on her hands. I am confident that with the love of her beautiful family and your friends along with prayers she will be healed.
