Color Me Creative Challenge #61 - Texture

Hi there!

NEW CHALLENGE #61 will run thru Feb 15th!

Your challenge this time is all about
**COLOR WITH TEXTURE **
color ANY image as long as you
SHOW SOME KIND OF TEXTURE
(furry, dirt, gravel, fuzzy, rocks, brick, wood, weathered, etc)
We want to see you use YOUR COPICS, ProMarkers, other alcohol markers or Colored Pencils!!

Our fabulous Sponsor for this Challenge is:
STAMP FAIRY DIGI STORE
One lucky winner (at random) will win a
$10 Gift Certificate to Stamp Fairy

We were given our choice of an image from Stamp Fairy for this challenge and
I chose their adorable image called "HUGO".

Did two different ways to create texture...

Card #1
This technique is the "flicking" method to draw fur...keep your strokes very short and very minimal blending

Card #2
Same image, but the texture on this one is done with "direct blender on washcloth".
Wet a small area of your cloth with the blender and gently press over your image.
I used my refill bottle and 3 drops onto corner of cloth.

Hope you were inspired to try one of these techniques or
some of the other gorgeous ways to create texture done by the Design Team!
Looking forward to seeing YOUR entry (-:

Thank you for every other wonderful article.
Where else may just anybody get that kind of information in such an ideal method of writing?
I have a presentation subsequent week, and I'm at the look for such information.

Lovely cards. Been away a few days but still keeping up with your cards. Should be by on a more regular schedule now that we are settled in FL for a few weeks.

Linda, Love the look on both of the cards so different on each. Sometimes I get frustrated with some of the textured images but I do think I like the flicking technique better. Love the embellishments and the image is so darling.
