Stamp TV's July CSS Alumni Blog Hop

Hi there
it's that time of the month again when the STV Center Stage Alumni brings you a Hop and YOU have the chance to win a huge grab bag of fabulous Gina K. Designs stamps... oh yeahhhhh

For this month's Hop, our awesome team mate Melissa Cash has given us this really clever sketch

and this one made me think...

well I recently purchased the clearly GKD set "Under the Sea" by Theresa Momber (thrilled that we can get GKD in the clear!!!) and then just had a blast...
made my own sea background by stamping on the card base using Memento's Teal Zeal and adding some white...but my fav part is the "water" behind the turtle - that is from a scrap that I had made with the Shaving Cream Technique forever ago.....love those scraps!
stamped the seaweed stuff on it...paper pieced my turtle and Voila!
 my Under the Sea ...
Designer paper is from stash (I think K& Co) and used Spellbinder's Beaded Squares.
Colored my turtle with Copics YG 03, 91, 95 and adhered him with pop dots.
stash ribbon ( the card base is Turquoise and there is no cream colored cardstock - that is just the background for photo)

hope you like - i really had fun creating this!
now
...if you want to start the hop at the beginning, just pop over to STV! If you are following the hop, you should have come from the super talented blog of Kay Simmons .... and your next stop is over to our own sketch designer Melissa Cash ...
Make sure to leave a comment as you hop along because on Tuesday morning (July 17), we will randomly choose one of the comments from all the blogs and that person will receive a huge grab bag of fabulous Gina K. Designs Stamps!

Enjoy the Hop!
hugs,
