This week at the Speedy the Cat Challenge Blog, Brenda has challenged us "to use a snowflake".So I used snowflake stamp from MFP's new Ice & Snow set and the sentiment is from their new Buffalo Spring set
a fav layout that I dont use often enough...stash light blue cardstock matted onto white cardbase, edges sponged with Ranger's Distress Ink "Tumbled Glass"...heat embossed snowflakes and sentiment..., white scrap dry embossed with Cuttlebug folder, ribbon from stash

but we eat good - I make a huge pot of vegetable beef soup and another family brings his pot of beans that has slow cooked for-ever!!! plus desserts, snacks, etc...
Our house will be packed and we love bringing in the New Year this way....

Happy New Year, my friend! Love your snowflake/birthday card. Very clever for those winter celebrations. I was so full from our early dinner with friends, that I never popped the cork on my bottle! Maybe today as I cook and watch Mummers!
