Speedy the Cat Challenge #77

Welcome Weekend!!
This week for the Speedy the Cat Challenge Blog we were challenged to "create seeing double". I've been working on a card for Operation Write Home (to make them a dozen) and decided to change my design and use "doubles"...

Since OWH sends the cards on to our troops - you have to keep your embellishments simple and flat. With this in mind I only added some scrunched seam binding. No buttons or glitter, etc. This is a great way to encourage our troops. If you've never heard of them, please check them out!

Without them - we would not have the "Liberty" we all enjoy...

hugs,

I really like the way you've stamped your 'doubles' and the seam binding is a perfect embelli.

Oh, Thank you for doing this for OWH. I have a blog post about our niece Rachel who was the first female soldier killed in Iraq. I do so appreciate all who help out with OWH. Great card.
