Speedy the Cat Challenge #75

Welcome Weekend!!
This week the Speedy the Cat Challenge Blog challenges us to create "using Polka Dots"...fun fun! and so easy..
Grabbed my stash designer paper (so trying to use up my old stuff before buying new...killing me but I NEED to use this stuff LOL) and used MFP's beautiful deep Evergreen cardstock with Memento Black and Ranger's Distress Peeled Paint Green ink.
Chose MFP's retired "Flourishes and Frames" set! i go to this set so often...
but since that set is retired ...
created a second card using two currently available sets.
and more retired SU dp...cardstock is MFP's Marbled Robin's Egg - so beautiful IRL

now that I'm doing my post, thinking should have sponged with distress inks and made them more vintage...oh well - never satisfied LOL

hope you get to join Speedy's Challenge - and remember, random winner receives a FREE stamp set!

have a beautiful, blessed weekend
also entered in the following challenges:
top card in:
Stamps R Us - OWH Birthday card
second card in:
Anything Challenge - anything goes
Celebrate the Occasion - use ribbon

Both are beautiful! They don't need the distress ink. The green catches my eye right off the bat.

Linda they are both beautiful. I love that paper, good thing you found a way to use it. I use that retired set a lot too, it just works with so many things but i think i use the wisteria and butterflies equally as much. i love the way you two toned the flower sprig.

Well girl, you doubled the sweetness. Love both of these, the card using the retired set is so gorgeous. Love the greens and the way my eye goes straight to the beautiful sentiment. Of course butterflies are always a fave. I still love all of the retired papers from SU, but then I just love paper, lol.
