Day 8 - MFP's 12 Days of Christmas Blog Hop

Welcome to the 12 Days of Christmas Blog Hop! We have four samples each day for our hop! Please visit each of the following blogs for holiday inspiration! Start off on the MFP Blog for more inspiration!

Pam     Debbie M      Lois     and ME (-:

using MFP's set "Seasonal Poinsettias" and colored with Copic Reds...
i love to stamp on candles but for this project decided to make "a candle sleeve"...just means that the closure in the back is done with Velcro - makes it easier to remove and put on another candle (-:

removed sleeve from burgandy candle and wrapped it on a white candle
the flowers, leaves, embellishments, wired ribbon bow are all attached to black cardstock mat from Nesties Label 13. The mat is attached with adhesive tape down the center of the back of the mat to the sleeve. This allows the mat to stand out flat from the candle while wrapping the sleeve around the candle. I used velcro attached two time at the back so I can wrap different size candles.

if enough are interested, I will try to do a tutorial...my instructions dont seem clear to me so I probably have you confused too (-:

Tomorrow is "altered legal pads" hope you are enjoying our hop!
 hugs,

Hi Linda,
This is gorgeous. I would certainly like the instructions (if you don't blog them you could maybe email them to me). Fabulous table decoration. It looks more Christmassy on the burgandy candle but the white candle shows it off better.
Hugs,

What a marvelous centerpiece you created, Linda. I don't think I've ever seen a candle "sleeve" before. Beautiful job.
