Speedy the Cat's Challenge #69

hi there - wow the summer is almost gone! and gooooood bye HEAT!

This week the Speedy the Cat Challenge Blog challenges us to create "using dry or heat embossing"...

I chose to dry emboss using the large Cuttlebug Folder Plus "Brocade Window"...to frame the cute chickadee from MFP's set Ferns and Chickadee



also did the inside...will just write our message over the bird nests - good thing its a large card... have a lot to say to our friends we are sending this card to...love the ferns in this set also - great for backgrounds!!

Oh Linda--this is beautiful, both inside & out!!! Ferns and chickadee is one of my most favorite stamp sets and you did a wonderful job with it!!!! I really do love this card!!!! TFS

Linda, how delightful to see that frame inked over to make it stand out. Great creativity with this card, the frame offsets that sweet chickadee so beautifully. Glad you shared it on Speedy's Blog.

What a beautiful framed card this is, Linda. You have used my favorite bird for the center, and the coloring is fabulous. I love the inside too....how gorgeous this is all together!

Linda, love your card! The coloring of the bird is
absolutely gorgeous and, I love the pink flowers -
its addition makes the whole card pop! I want to tell
you that I am quite a fan of your header! I stop &
"study" it everytime I see it. The coloring is exquisite as well as the shading! Is it taken from
a marks finest stamps?!

What a beautiful embossing folder! And you showed me something new. I didn't know Cuttlebug had "Plus" folders, such as this. Good to know, and I'll have to keep my eyes opened for this beauty.
