Merry Christmas - kinda vintage

hi there,
This card was on the Heartfelt Creations blog
Wanted to go vintage with this...but kinda lost track of where I was going with it...
oh well, hope you like (-:

Really want to get the hang of vintage - so many of you out there do them so beautifully!

HCPC3349 Cardinal Holiday Mailbox PreCut Set (sentiments)
718E Merry Christmas Bouquet
Zip Dry Paper Glue

Cut dark green cs for 5.5 x 5.5 card base
Cut vintage cream/green designer paper for mat
Cut snowflake dp 3.5 x 4.75 and randomly stamped sentiments from the Cardinal Holiday Mailbox set. Added cream lace. Using white accent pen hand drew my flourishes and added white mini pearls.
Cut plaid dp as shown

Stamped sentiment using Hunter Green dye ink onto white cs. Sponged edges while still in nestie. Colored sentiment with Copics YG63, 67, G000. Colored berries with white accent pen and clear glaze pen. Punched slot on either end and added striped green stash ribbon. Tied bow knot and adhered at left side.

Attached snowflake panel to plaid panel. Applied sentiment wrapping ends of ribbon behind plaid dp.
Adhered to card base.

well, back to work - hope the weather stays as gorgeous as it's been the past few days...hard to believe Turkey Day is so near (-:
