STV's new Release from GKD's "Buds n Vases" by Melanie

hello,
I'm tryin to play catch up at work (you know how it goes, love love loved my vacation!) came back to ton of work and havent stamped since Monday!!  Those of you who follow Stamp TV know they had their new release party at STV this past Thursday night. Melanie had sent me her new set Buds n Vases  but I had to miss the release party...bummer!!!
I did have 3 cards made (that I did while I was away)  for the release...so here they are now...

scrap vintage dp, laces, image printed smaller than actual size and colored with Copics...added minor details - kept it simple

you cant tell very well, but the flowers are all pieced and popped up, colored with Copics, stash dp, stickled in flower centers and MS border punch

just cut out the image, colored with Copics, and popped up on the Webster's vellum (isnt it gorgeous vellum!!) sponged a little around sentiment, used nesties...done!

If you have any of Melanie's gorgeous flower sets, or her sea shells....or cooking with the cookie image ..or leaves with the caterpillar...they will allllll work with this set! the possiblities are endless....There is a mason jar in this set that begs to be "filled" with stuff  LOL
...pop over to Melanie's blog  and check out her beautiful works of art and she may have her "tip" sheet posted by now...

have a wonderful weekend - hope the weather is nice!

Saying prayers for my friends Fiona and Randi - miss seeing you both. These sweet sisters in Christ are both suffering with serious physical problems that only the Lord can handle..hugs to you both! I'm sure they would appreciate your prayers for their healing (-:

All wonderful cards, but I particulary adore the "postcard"! It's lovely!

Just beautiful, Linda, as always! I just don't know how you do it! You must be the most organized person ever! I'll definitely add your friends to my prayer list! We are going through a rough time with my youngest daughter. Thirty years old and told there is nothing they can do for her back but pain management. So sad, but she is doing her best to keep a good outlook! God can do miraculous things!! Blessings to you!

What beautiful creations...love the vintage postcard one. Hope you will get back to normal, whatever that is (don't ask me, as I don't know) and be back in your stamping room. That is the thing with vacations, you work twice as hard afterwards. Have a wonderful week-end.
