Enjoy Your Day

Hello,
Weekends fly by don't they!!
I didnt get to participate in the World Card Making Day "stuff"...hope you were able to...

Did get a card done to enter in 3 challenges...
this one works for Vicki's Sketch over at STV,
MFP's Speedy the Cat and Joan's Garden
Using Basic Grey's Indian Summer - this gave me the stripes, polka dots, and circles needed for Joan's challenge than added the strip of plaid dp,and added the mini gold pearls - met all of Joan's challenge requirements. Wellll, kinda of - I had intended to use round tiny buttons but didnt have enough, so used the little heart buttons - maybe the brads will count as circles ??

The layout is Vicki's sketch, used Spellbinders Beaded Oval die and vellum for the background.
and for MFP - added the buttons and a bow (ribbon is SU's Rose Red)

Used the vellum so the dp could be seen and airbrushed one side Copic R23 and then on the front using Stazon Saddle Brown and Black, stamped the images and sentiment from GKD's "Hope Grows" by Theresa Momber

Can you believe I didnt color anything  LOL !!!

have a wonderful day,

PS Tonight is Bible Study with the women at the Regional Jail - besides giving the Gospel...we will be studying on "Restoration" - confessing, repenting and moving on to serve our Lord. Would appreciate your prayers - we meet at 7-8:30pm (-:

Hi Linda....

It was not exactly the week we had planned, but it worked out. We need to find one of those folks that come right to your house for pets. Anyhow, this is the best card! I must get some of the newest Nesties at my show on Sunday. The addition of the buttons was brilliant!

I like the hearts, they fit the nestie well. They give the card a country feel, a little folk art-sy. Enjoy your study with the ladies, doesn't it just make you feel good to do?
