Thursday Blast From the Past Challenge - 7/8/10 - Two for One

Happy Day!!
Thursdays for me are STV's Blast from the Past Challenges . This week it's a little more challenging. It's to try the Split Negative Technique . Now this is a technique that unless you're one of the those "I can eyeball everything perfectly" lucky crafter - you should watch Gina's video...trust the process! and you will end up with two images ready for a card!
But you dont have to create two cards  - that's up to you! (although two cards are two entries!)
The "twist" is to only use two colors along with either black or white (or IN black and white).
....as if this technique wasnt challenging enough - but I know there are a lot of you who will nail it with no problem and then hoping this will be something new and exciting for someone who hasn't tried it!

for my cards - you can see my two reverse images are on two very different cards.

My image and sentiments are from GKD's Showtime STV set "Spring Mix". Cardstock is GKD's Lemon Drop and All Spruced Up with dp from Cosmo's Material Girl and the purple card uses GKD's All Spruced Up and various purple stash dp. Both used nesties (circle, circle small scallop, pendant and doodle parts)

You do not need to use Gina K Designs stamps to participate, although we'd love it if you did! In fact, if you use Gina K Stamps in your entry, then your name will be added to the prize drawing TWICE! Please be sure to create a new project for the challenge versus linking up something you've created before.

You have until next Wednesday, July 14th, at 8pm CST, to upload your sample. One winner will be drawn at random to win a Gina K stamp set valued at $24.95 or less!

have a blessed day! hope you try this one (-:
