I am very excited, nervous, and THRILLED to announce that I will be the Blast from the Past Challenge Hostess for Gina K's Stamp TV for June through August! For those of you unfamiliar to Stamp TV, please pop over and see all the fun for yourself. There are challenges for every day of the week with the winner receiving a FREE stamp set from Gina K, open question/answer forums, many special groups to join...STV has it "all" with over 12,000 members and its own gallery of projects. Check it out for inspiration galore!
So, for my first challenge: the shaving cream technique!
I just did this for the first time this April and fell in love with it (shown to me by my friend and STV member Bessie Joan Crisp). Be sure you have plenty of cardstock cut and ready to “dip”… it’s fun, beautiful, different design each time and smells good! So grab a paper plate, some sort of scraper (I used my small 6 inch ruler), shaving cream and colors…get something to drink, kick back and watch Gina. You will see how easy it is.
I used the seahorse from the Gina K set 'Eclectic Summer" stamped onto shaving cream card using Memento's Black and matted onto main shaving cream card background, added adhesive pearls colored blue with Copic B93 and Gina K's ribbon.
You can use any stamp or image you wish to enter this challenge - but if you use a Gina K stamp, you will be entered in the challenge twice. Enter link in first sentence to see challenge details.....it ends Wednesday, June 9th at 8pm CST.
Hope to see you there!

Look at you hosting challenges! I am so happy for you! We don't bite so please don't be nervous. You picked a winner in my book. This was one of my very fav techniques. As long as you don't do soot, we will remain friends. LOL!
Congratulations to you! You rock GF! Your card is way over the top awesome!
Ditto on Mary Anne's comment on soot. Love this card...already ask DH for some puffy shave cream. Love your card...awesome colors. Have fun with your challenges.
Awesome card Linda. Shaving cream technique is a favorite of mine and I like what you did with it. I haven't done it in a long time but I think I'm inspired to play around with it again soon. Maybe even get my son involved to make me some background paper. I like how you stamped the image on a panel of the shaving cream background as well.
WOW! I gotta try this...it looks amazing!
Don't be nervous. You do awesome work! I've never tried the shaving cream technique but I think I just might - you've inspired me.
