Are you talking to me?

I'm just plain lovin coloring these images from GKD's "Hang in There" by Theresa Momber.
put these two together because I wanted to use this sentiment from one of Theresa's other sets....
because of DH!
Earlier spent..ohhhhhh about 15-20 minutes telling him all about a friend of ours problem today while I'm fixing our dinner....he is giving the occasional "grunt" but then was quiet....My response is "helllll-llloooo....did you hear me?   what does he say...."Are you talkin to me?"...aaaarrrrrrggggghhhhh!!!
I wanted to yell "NO, I'm talkin to all the OTHER people you see in this room!!"..but I didnt, sigh....just quietly finished dinner, ate, cleaned up and left him happily watching Mayberry for the 1,780,978,000 time!
and now venting in this post (big smile).....life is good!
now my card....

isn't it great how this little frog blends in with his surroundings! love it!
wanted to keep with the colors in the background dp.
and

Hi Linda, Congratulations on being Theresa's Guest Designer, Isn't that fun!!!
Your card is wonderful, but your story is funny :) I live with a hearing impaired husband as well. Your blog is now in my favorites so I can stop by often.

Hi Linda,
Love this card with the combined images. You have made such a good job of colouring them.
Had to smile about your hubby. Mine has developed the knack of saying "yes" periodically while I am speaking to him if he is absorbed in something. It's amazing the things he agrees I need from Stampaholics without knowing he's done it. Lol.
Hugs,
Fiona x

Enjoyed the story behind this card....made me laugh because I've been there too. Colors are great! To answer a comment you made this week re: pics that I posted...I do make calendars with our wildlife pics and give them as Christmas gifts. Saw an idea in a shop the other day to make a desk calendar that fits into a CD case...the case acts as a standup holder which you fold back. Print calendar pages front and back on size to fit case. Plan to try when I get home.

This is amazing... I want to see how many colors you can do this frog in! I'm surprised he wasn't red after the conversation you had all alone in the kitchen!LOL!

Is anyone listening?? LOL!

Oh and I hope you didn't hurt your head when you fainted...hehe (inside joke for anyone else reading this...Linda did not really faint!)

Love your card...those animals are really cute!

Ooooh, I'm betting you didn't give him the special little wink! Thanks for sharing that story. I think we can all relate.

Your card is gorgeous! Have I mentioned that you ROCK???

I'm laughing with you, MEN sometimes! What ever, I just talk and talk anyway, (even though I don't really think he is listening). Ha! Well I love this! I'll bet we're going to see this frog in every color of the rainbow before your done. I can't wait to see what is next! Hugs for you and I'm listening...

Love your card. I can totally relate to your story. I tell my husband he has selective hearing all the time. What's bad is he will participate in a conversation and then not remember it at all. so frustrating, but we love them anyways.
