Stamp TV's CSS #2 February Alumni Hop

Hi there,
Our challenge was to create a project using "some of our favorite things" and using GKD stamp set released between August 2012 and January 2013.

I'm at the end of the hop ....you should have come from Vicki's awesome blog

My favorite things - new technique and birds!

Used a technique new to me...gesso wash.
Used GKD Stamp Set "Birds and Blossoms" from Theresa Momber

Took at picture from bird magazine and lightly covered it with gesso...then stamped and colored my images.
Different (-:
Hope you enjoyed our hop!

hugs,

Supplies:
Cardstock: GKD's Powder Blue and Chocolate Kiss
Ribbon - GKD's Powder Blue Gingham
Gesso and acrylic paint
Ink: Archival Jet Black
