Welcome to another Sensational Saturday at Sugar Creek Hollow
This week we want you to make a vintage or shabby chic project ...with the theme...
only use Fabric, no ribbon or lace
huh yep...that's what I said....whaaaatt!!!
but, isn't that why we like challenges..or it is just the prize? hmmmmmm LOL
well I love a challenge so this one got me thinking...at first I was like.."well, I cant do this, no fabric!" I have fabric from my sewing days but its all out in the shed (buried) and that was too much work to try and get to it....but when I was searching for a lost stamp, came across my little plastic box of fabric stash from when I made stuffed "country" kittens...
bingo! now I have fabric (-:
even pulled out the sewing machine for this one

even pulled out the sewing machine for this one
stamped the pig onto muslin (sorry about the shadow dots, don't see them on my card) and colored pig with Copics RV23, R11. The background is glued to white card stock so the fabric glue wouldn't warp my card. Then adhered to red card
Stamped a pennant image onto the green checkered fabric, cut out and adhered to card.
Using stash strip of same fabric I sewed it onto card using the finger pushing "bunch-up" method (LOL, I'm sure that's a name for it somewhere!)
Ok, now your turn...what can you do with fabric?
hugs,
