Phri-days are Phindy's!

TGIF! and I'm off work today!!!! woooo hoooooo! headed to Baltimore for a crafting retreat sponsored by
the Outlawz (and my oldest daughter is with me!!)

This week at Phindy's Place Friday Challenge Blog the challenge is to create...
with theme "Summer"...

Well we sure skipped Spring so straight into summer we go! We've had sooo much rain here that I had to grab one of Phindy's newest images called Spring Shower

loved paper piecing her raincoat and umbrella to match (a girl's got to match!!) using scraps of designer paper, background designer paper is from Prima - Madeline Collection, Sentiment is from the Cottage Stamper stamped with Memento's Lady Bug, card-base is dark brown.  Colored with Copics C2,  B000, YR 02, 20, and E00, E11, accented with red glitter gel pen on boots and hat. Glossy accents for rain...

Remember you don't have to use a Phindy image to enter - but you're entered twice if you do! Hope to see you in the challenge (-:

hugs,

Fabulous card with great paper-piecing and I agree on the matching. I used to have so many matching shoes and purses but thank heaven those days are long gone.
Hugs!
