Sugar Creek Hollow

hi there,
working on vintage cards for Christmas and found this stamp in my stash...I've had it for years and used it maybe twice...so grabbed it up to use for my card for this week's challenge at Sugar Creek Hollow - to use vellum!

I inked my vellum with Ranger's Distress Rusty Hinge and Aged Mahogany - let it dry - then punched my leaves with MS leaf punch. Using a Marvy scalloped punch, created my vellum flower. Sponged its edges with the mahogany and added red brad and sparkly stickles to the center.  The image was colored with Ranger's Distress Peeled Paint Green, Aged Mahogany, Barn Door Red and Tumbled Glass Blue

The stamp is from Inkadinkado called Tin Can Mail

ok, I'm outta here
work work work

but hey no snow! I feel bad for everyone without power...am pushing my DH to invest in a generator this year - have a feeling its gonna be a rough winter...

hugs

Linda, this is a lovely creation!!! Your vintage style just speaks to my heart. When I say your entry and got over here to your blog, my jawy was laying on my computer table....just could not believe my eyes. Thank you again for playing our challenge.....just wondering....any chance you would consider joining SCH for our next design team? Think about it please. You take vintage to a whole new level, and you are sure not afraid to try new tricks! Gorgeous! As for the generator... we say it every year and it ends up on the bottom of the list. It will bite us one of these times.
