Earthquake Survivor! WOW - that was something!

just want to thank everyone for their concern - we live very close to Mineral but everything is fine!! was a bumpy ride there for awhile but all ok. Just had a lot of cleanup with everything fallen off shelves, mantles, pantry, cabinets, bookcases, etc...but very minor considering what it could have been...

thankful to the Lord that no one was hurt or major damage incurred! i guess He has given me a good reason to get rid of some stuff and do some good ole  "cleaning out cleaning"...

my stamps want to tell everyone they are fine and waving to ya LOL

hugs,

We here in the Baltimore are where riding that rollercoaster along with you, Monica!! That was my first earthquake- exciting but a little scary, too. Glad things are well with you all and that everything is okay. Once I got home (I work in an elementary school- THAT was an adventure- had to evacuate and all!!) all we had were some knick knacks fallen off shelves, a couple crooked pictures on the wall and a couple stacks of stamps fallen over and Prima bottles fallen off the shelf. It did pop the circutbreaker on our AC unit which we didn't notice until today...I thought it was awfully hot last night! :) All in all it went well...

So glad you are well....I told Rick you would have a story. He said to tell you I survived as well, lol. I was sitting on the bed talking on the phone with my kitty by my side and the bed started going up and down, the closet doors rattling and a table with flowers in a pitcher was moving all over and shaking, Salem looked around and at me as if what is going on??? At first it never occured that it was an earthquake, I thought what is happening downstairs in my home....slow on the uptake, I know. Rick was outside in the woods by the barn and didn't even realize that it happened. Take care of yourself and sorry about any breakage.

We had a little shake, rattle and roll here in Philly too. Now bracing for Irene.

Isn't this fun???

Glad you were ok, Linda.

Well now that is not the way to do clean out. I didn't realize how close you were to the area. Glad all is well.
