Copic/Pro Marker challenge at the Outlawz

Hi there!

Our theme this week is:
Bah Humbug
in celebration of National Bah Humbug Day.
Now lets see what you have. We are thinking the Ebenezer Scrooge type. Grumpy, greedy, stingy etc. You get the picture. You must color your project with Copic/Promarker (Alcohol based markers).
Our sponsor for the month of December this month is Torico of  Birdie Brown Digital Stamps! Torico has lots of adorable digis in her Etsy shop here You should also check out the Birdie Brown blog here.

One randomly-chosen participant in this month's challenges will win 5 digi stamps from the Birdie Brown shop!

I used this cute image from Saturated Canary

sentiment is something I came up with...colored with Copics and used
random stash design paper and ribbon.
I'm sorry I don't have more details - they were all in the original post that I did but for some reason..has disappeared into blogland...it was set to autopost last night but don't know what happened....go figure!
too much to do to worry about it (-:

Stamp TV's CSS December Alumni Hop

Hi there
it's that time of the month again when the STV Center Stage Alumni brings you a Hop and YOU have the chance to win a huge grab bag of fabulous Gina K. Designs stamps...
the challenge this month is from me ... and it's to

create a Christmas project with non-traditional colors, absolutely no reds or greens!

Now you should have arrived here from the wonderful talented blog of KAREN  (and a huge welcome back Karen!!!)  if not and you want to start at the beginning, then head over to STV.

I went with blues and yellows..
the holiday decorators at the office buildings I manage provided the most gorgeous yellow poinsettias in our offices! I love them... so where
do you go when you need a poinsettia stamp?
well Melanie's flower sets of course!

I used 3 of Melanie's sets...
from the "Pressed Flowers" set, stamped the background using Memento - Dandelion. Then stamped "Festive Frame" onto that using Memento- Teal Zeal. Stamped the poinsettias from the set "a Year of Flowers" (I'm sure every stamper in the WORLD has that set by now - an all time favorite "go to" set). Colored them using Copics Y06, 11, 28...then using heat n stick powder added my very fine glitter. Some of the frame was also colored with Copics...B18, 35, BG 18.
The sentiment was stamped with Memento-Teal Zeal.
Designer Paper is from My Minds Eye and stash ribbon. Gold pearls are done with Viva Pearl Pen....and that's it!

Now your next stop is over to the awesome blog of Lori .

Hope you were inspired to create with non-traditional colors...
wishing all a very Merry Christmas (I'm a Christmas gal instead of Happy Holidays!)
Don't want to take my Christ out of Christmas...

hugs everyone...

Sugar Creek Hollow - Final challenge for 2012

Hi there!
Welcome to another Sensational Saturday at Sugar Creek Hollow. This week we want you to make a vintage or shabby chic project ...with the theme...

MAKE A GIFT (a bag, box or enclosure, etc)

my little bag is not original to me - the idea comes from my blogging sister Diana Queen. She recently included one of her little gift bags in a box of goodies to me...i love it and CASED it! Made my own flower and adhered to clothes pin, a little doily from a pack I got from Walmart along with small brown bags, added my colored image and ribbon.

these little bags are so cute! this one is filled with Dove chocolate and going to a co-worker...

I've made a dozen of these - they're quick and perfect to give filled with candy!

Hope you get to show us YOUR gift project...

Sugar Creek Hollow is taking a break over the holidays...we will be back with our
first challenge in 2013 on January 5th...

and just in case I don't see you again until then

MERRY CHRISTMAS!
hugs

entering this in the Reasonable Ribbon Challenge - anything goes

Sugar Creek Hollow Challenge

Hi there!
Welcome to another Sensational Saturday at Sugar Creek Hollow. This week we want you to make a vintage or shabby chic project ...with the theme...

use stencil or mask

My stencil is from Crafters Workshop called  " Mini Orchid"
stenciled with Copic Opaque White onto black cardstock

that white really pops on  the black, my snowflakes are ivory (-:
i like using generic sentiments on the front of my cards
that way I can use them for so many different occasions.

Once again we will be choosing one random winner who will receive a digi of our choice along with at winner's badge to display. The Design Team will also choose their Top Pick and that creator will receive a winner's badge but will also be in the running for a monthly Guest Designer spot.

Have a great weekend...
the Christmas countdown is ON...
have so much to do...but then again, there
is always the loved Gift Card (-:
